Computer Technology

YEAR 1

This program will give students a broad base of skills to prepare them for many of today's high tech jobs. They will study the latest computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. A+ Certification Materials will be used to introduce students to building, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware. Students will also become experts in Web Page Design using HTML as well as other Internet Technology Tools.

**Computer Information Tools or passing IC3 certification is a pre-requisite for Fast Track

Students will further their knowledge of computer software using advanced features of today's latest software and learn how to integrate these software applications. Students will also explore more advanced hardware topics including computer networking and advanced computer tools such as video editing and creating animation. Students may specialize in Advanced Internet Technology, Advanced Computer Applications, or Networking during this year.
